CommerceTel, provider of software-centric telecommerce services, earlier this month announced the availability of its Call For Content (C4C) service on Level 3 Communications’ converged PSTN-IP network.
C4C enables cell phone users to select and purchase mobile content using an interactive voice response (IVR) or touch-tone dialing interface.
Making C4C available through Level 3’s VoIP service means customers have access to both toll-free and local phone numbers, and virtually unlimited on-demand capacity.
“We chose to work with Level 3 because of their unique network footprint, service availability, capacity and reliability,” said CommerceTel’s CEO, Steve Cherry, in a press release.
John Britto, VP of Sales for Level 3 Communications (News - Alert), added: “Working with Level 3 assures CommerceTel’s clients of access to on-demand capacity and the reliability for which Level 3 is known.”
