Quintum (News - Alert) Technologies has announced that its intelligent VoIP switches and gateways has been selected by Innovation Technologies for use in conjunction with its communications solutions for the hospitality industry.
Innovation's hospitality industry solutions provide customers with added functions for voice mail and value-added guest services-including wake-up calls, call accounting and IVR-accessible information resources. These solutions enable hotel operators to optimize their customer experience, boost staff productivity and reduce costs, according to the company.
By using Quintum's VoIP technology to interface its systems to its customers' existing analog phones and PBXs, Innovation eases the implementation of its hospitality solutions,-thereby accelerating time-to-benefit while reducing costs. At the same time, Quintum's technology gives Innovation's customers the freedom to migrate to next-generation IP phones and IP PBXs in the future, without having to swap out their interface devices.
"The robustness and openness of its VoIP platform makes Quintum an ideal partner for us as we bring our hospitality solution to market," said Doug Schwartz, CEO/President of Innovation Technologies Worldwide, in a statement. "The range of Quintum's product line is especially appealing to us, because our systems have to be able to work in our customers' largest and smallest facilities."
