SwitchRay Inc. recently announced that it has acquired the intellectual property rights to ALOE Systems Inc.’s VoIP products, including MVTS Pro, MVTS II and RTU.

The companies are currently in the process of signing software license agreements and associated maintenance and support services agreements, which began as of October 2013. Pursuant to the agreement, ALOE Systems will continue to work as an authorized sales agent for SwitchRay.

SwitchRay aims to offer a variety of scalable and reliable products and solutions designed to allow customers to build successful businesses, driving up profits and keeping operational costs low. The company is headquartered in Mission Viejo, California and serves approximately 500 customers in more than 32 countries, with a staff of 150 employees.

SwitchRay noted that it is equipped with dedicated and experienced leadership team that will provide customers with consistent customer service and resources for support.

ALOE Systems, meanwhile, builds softswitch solutions, session border controllers, and IP-based service platforms for VoIP service providers. Its VoIP products, including its Class 4 and Class 5 soft switches, are designed to provide wholesale carriers with a flexible switching engine that ensures connectivity to multiple networks with advanced network security, quality of service, and cost-effective routing management.

The company said that acquisition reflects SwitchRay’s field-proven expertise and technological leadership in development of softswitch solutions for wholesale and retail operators.
