Network access solutions manufacturer Kentrox recently announced the launch of a new product, the Satellite 932 Channel Service Unit.
The Satellite 932, which monitors T1 service lines used for high-speed applications, joins Kentrox’s line of VoIP Quality of Service solutions.
In the process of identifying degrading circuits on T1 lines, Satellite 932 also performs conditioning to address those problem areas.

Iverson added that a proactive approach helps prevent costly outages.
In the press release, Kentrox listed several key features of their newest product:
-
T1 signal level monitoring to proactively prevent outages
-
Connectivity for voice and other T1 applications
-
Switch settings for easy configuration
-
Lightning protection
-
