Allworx, a company that specializes in VoIP phone systems, announced Tuesday that its 24x system won a 2006 Internet Telephony Excellence Award from Technology Marketing Corporation.
The 24x is a multi-faceted communications system designed specifically for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with up to 100 users. It combines a full-featured phone system with support for T1/PRI, FXO and VoIP trunking.
“This achievement continues to validate our approach to the exploding SMB market - providing them with the absolute lowest installed cost of any full-featured VoIP PBX (News - Alert)/Key-system, the richest SMB feature set, the easiest install and usability, and the flexibility to transition to VoIP risk free, and at their own pace,” said Sandra Gault, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Allworx, in a statement.
Greg Galitzine, Editorial Director of Internet Telephony Magazine and TMCnet.com, commented that TMC’s Excellence Awards are given to companies leading the way in the VoIP market.
“Taking risks to advance VoIP technology and provide real solutions has earned Allworx recognition from the editors of Internet Telephony,” Galitzine said in a statement. “The Allworx 24x excels in the VoIP/IP Telephony industry, and most importantly, its customers are willing to offer their testaments of support.”
A list of all 2006 Internet Telephony Excellence Award winners appears in the October, 2006 issue of the magazine.
