VoIP Monitoring Provider Maintains Market Leadership Despite Challenging Economy

While the past year saw a number economic uncertainties and many losses, a Bedford, MA-based provider of VoIP monitoring solutions is noting it was able to maintain market leadership including growing its business and customer base, despite the challenging economy.
Officials with Empirix say the company not only achieved significant growth over the past year, but also received a number of industry awards, offered a number of new products and services, and expanded its customer base globally.
“Empirix (News - Alert) is consistently enhancing its influence across the globe by providing unrivaled service quality assurance solutions that help our customers ensure a superior end-user experience,” said John D’Anna, president and CEO of Empirix.
“Over the past year, we have realized some significant achievements, including bringing prominent organizations into our family of customers and providing them with exceptional new products that are unique in the industry.”
Among the newly released products this year from Empirix are the company’s “Testing as a Service” solution and “Proactive Communications Assurance” service, which help organizations to mitigate risks associated with upgrading their systems or deploying new UC technologies.
The company also released Hammer SIP Trunk Tester, for automated testing and verification of SIP trunking services; Hammer Class Five Feature Tester, automated regression testing for Class 5 voice services; and Hammer XMS/S7, which provides real-time monitoring and a network-wide view to help service providers identify and resolve issues early, before they impact customers.
Empirix also grew its partner and customer base with the addition of Alestra, Cox Communications, Inc., Sipera Systems, University of Switzerland and Verscom Managed Services, and was awarded for Product Differentiation Innovation in 2009 by Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert), ranked by
Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000, and received a number of awards from Technology Marketing Corporation, or “TMC (News - Alert).”
