Clarus Reveals VoIP Management Growth in 2011

Those of us who actively observe the world of communications technology are privy to the enormous growth the VoIP sector experienced in the last year; but it’s important to pinpoint certain areas of growth that attribute to the overall bigger picture of developing technologies. The folks over at Clarus Systems (News - Alert) were part of this growth, and themselves witnessed significant progress with customers and accolades.


As a provider of VoIP management software and services for unified communications, Clarus spent 2011 exploring the new ways in which it can provide innovative monitoring and testing functionalities to its client base. The company won the HP 2011 AllianceONE Partner of the Year Award as well as the Unified Communications Excellence Award, and brought its brand to some key events including ITEXPO (News - Alert) West 2011 in Austin, TX.

Brendan F. Reidy, CEO for Clarus, stated, “In 2011, our software releases, recognition for innovation and excellence, combined with customer wins at some of the world’s largest financial institutions not only allowed Clarus to prove the scalability of our solution at some of the largest Cisco (News - Alert) Unified Communications installation, but lead us to surpass our revenue growth targets.”

2011 saw Clarus’ release of significant new capabilities to its flagship product, ClarusIPC Plus+, including Cisco Telepresence (News - Alert) testing, reporting and monitoring and support for the Cisco Cius tablet, as well as the expansion of its offerings to include New Deployment and UC Migration Verification testing services, SIP testing services and Optimization Services.

Ultimately, Clarus experienced a huge increase in revenues year-over-year from 2010 while enjoying an unprecedented sales momentum in new verticals including healthcare, financial services, and government.

Reidy added, “In 2012, we expect the Voice, Video and UC Management market to continue to grow, requiring VoIP-focused products to better integrate with overall technology management solutions. In addition to continuing to sell software and services in support of Cisco’s Unified Communications and Collaboration suite, will be looking to expand to non-Cisco UC platforms and exploring how we can apply our expertise to emerging areas, such as Cloud Communications and Enterprise Mobility. 2012 is going to be a very exciting year. “
