Clarus Systems will be appearing at the Enterprise Connect event in Orlando next week, and company officials say they’ll be presenting products for taking advantage of Unified Communications (News - Alert).

Clarus Systems has already evangelized the testing and monitoring of Enterprise IPT and UC, and company officials say “if you are working on any stories or reports for Unified Communications, we have a couple solid resources at Enterprise Connect.”  

Brendan Reidy (News - Alert), President & Chief Executive Officer, and John McCaffrey, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, are in charge of promoting the company’s products at the show.

The company had a successful 2010 by pretty much anybody’s standards, with their contracted booking 177 percent of 2009 bookings and revenues 130 percent of 2009 revenues.

The company saw what company officials characterized as “impressive” sales momentum in 2010, with wins of leading global companies -- “household names,” according to Clarus officials -- in health care, financial services and government to deliver monitoring and testing functionality “to keep their unified communications systems running.”

During 2010 Clarus also extended coverage and market reach through an array of partnerships, including large Telco's, Cisco and HP, and developed new services to enable customers and partners to test and optimize Unified Communications migrations and deployments.  

In 2010 the Clarus UC Migration Verification Service was recognized by TMC (News - Alert) for Outstanding Innovation as well.

For 2011 the company has already introduced ClarusIPC Plus+ version 4.0, which involves an expansion of monitoring to more UC applications, such as Cisco Unity Connection, Unified Presence Server, and Contact Center Express.

They will also be previewing their next Clarus IPC (News - Alert) Plus+ release at Enterprise Connect, “including capabilities to ensure the reliability of high-end telepresence video conferencing,” company officials say.

At the recently-concluded IT EXPO East 2011 in Miami, CEO Rich Tehrani (News - Alert) had the opportunity to sit down and interview Clarus System's Senior VP of Product Development, Gurmeet Lamba. He said the sizes of their customers range from a few hundred phones, to "over a hundred thousand communication end points."
