Patton (News - Alert) Electronics, a U.S. manufacturer of VoIP equipment, has come to a long-term partnership agreement with Yealink, a manufacturer of IP phones and communication solutions. The partnership has created a cost-effective, bundled, plug-and-play telephony solution for enterprises that was released jointly through U.S. distribution partner 888VoIP.
The new bundled telephony solution includes Patton’s SmartNode Branch eXchange (SNBX), which is a PBX (News - Alert) appliance that is pre-loaded with Windows 7 and 3CX Phone System and combined with the consumers’ choice of Yealink phones. The final part of the bundle is the Patton SmartNode VoIP.
Tyler Delin, product manager of Patton, says, “The best-of-breed solution comes out of the box plug-and-play. That makes it easy to sell, easy to install, easy to support… and our SmartNode Gateways ensure the solution works in any office.”
Together the companies expect even more breakthroughs as they work closely together in the future.
Patton and Yealink (News - Alert) came together recently in Singapore at the CommunicaAsia Communications Technology Conference. They also teamed up at road shows in Italy, Canada and across the United States. They have several more cooperative appearance planned in the near future at international venues.
Patton announced yesterday the new CopperLink 2300 line-bonding Ethernet-over-copper extender series. CopperLink 2300 features remote management capability and SSH and Stateful Firewall security features.
Stone Lu (News - Alert), vice president of Yealink, said in a statement, “This powerful global partnership with Patton is a milestone for Yealink. Together we can deliver much more possibilities on the growing communication for our customers.”
