A provider of IP-based communications solutions, Drishti Soft Solutions, has recently formed a strategic alliance with Matrix Comsec, a manufacturer of VoIP products, to test the interoperability of Matrix Comec’s VoIP gateway solutions using Drishti’s call center offerings.

By joining forces, the companies will solidify and strengthen their position in the call center industry while embracing new opportunities for channel partners looking to expand their VoIP call center market offerings.

"Today's competitive business environment, where success is measured in terms of customer service and customer experience, customer interaction has become the crucial pivot for driving business. To enhance on this and provide added differentiation to businesses, we were looking for a reliable connectivity technology to connect with our communication solution, Ameyo,” said Sachin Bhatia, VP, Business Development, Drishti Soft Solutions.

"Matrix has developed a fine range of IP-PBX (News - Alert) and VoIP Gateways to suit the requirements of all types of inbound, outbound and blended call centers. To increase the customer value, we have identified the need to offer more opportunities to call centers to increase their efficiency and productivity through better call center solutions."  added Sajeev Nair, manager, Product Management at Matrix Comsec.

Bhatia commented that Matrix will allow Drishti to widen its market reach via its extensive experience in telecoms and VoIP domain, ultimately working to serve a more complex and full set of enterprises and contact centers with solutions including multimedia, dynamic queuing, intelligent routing and comprehensive reporting, says a statement.

In other recent VoIP gateway news, Patton (News - Alert) Electronics, a strong player in the VoIP technologies industry, formed a strategic partnership with CyberData Corporation. Patton’s Microsoft Lync-Certified Smartnode VoIP Gateway (News - Alert) was able to receive extra functionality from Cyber Data Corp., whose line of IP speakers and intercom hardware were integrated to ultimately allow users access to overhead paging, two-way communication door phones and access control systems.

“It's a prime example of how partnering can help make new solutions out of currently existing products, thus allowing both firms access to markets that were formerly unavailable to them.
