By Charles West, TMCnet Web Editor

IP Camera Supply, LLC a division of Sayers Technology Holdings and IP Surveillance solution provider, has added new Panasonic IP cameras to its product catalog from Panasonic’s (News - Alert) i-Pro, BB, and BL model series.

A certified reseller of Panasonic’s professional IP camera line, i-Pro series, IP Camera Supply has added new models such as the WV-SP105 SmartHD Megapixel Bullet Camera and the WV-SW395 SmartHD Outdoor PTZ Camera. These models represent the spectrum that is now available in this high-performance line – from the competitively priced entry-level model to the full featured, robust workhorse featuring all the latest breakthroughs.

Also added from the Panasonic IP Camera stable are models from the mid-range BB-series that are ideal for small to medium sized business use and cameras from the BL-series used in residential applications and notable for their price performance and simple plug-and-play operation.

Discussing the company’s new addition, Garrett Smith (News - Alert), director of marketing and business development said, “We’re excited to expand our selection from a top IP camera manufacturer.”

“Giving customers access to the latest models from Panasonic is great because these IP cameras are packed full of features which ultimately lowers the total cost of ownership.”

In related VoIP equipment news, GL Communications (News - Alert), a supplier of test monitoring and analysis equipment has released its enhanced PacketExpert, a quad port wire speed Ethernet/Packet Tester.

This application has been enhanced with features such as resolve utility to easily configure MAC address – through ARP; and PING utility to check remote IP address availability.

Additional features include user-defined or auto-negotiated electrical ports that can operate at 10/100/1000 Mbps line rates in full duplex mode; optical ports can operate at 1000 Mbps line rate in full duplex mode only.

PacketExpert also features Bit Error Insertion for both single as well as Rate Error. Detailed reports in PDF format for both BERT and RFC 2544 are portable through a USB 2.0 Interface.
