Many businesses find themselves in need of a call center’s services, but they also find that they do not fit the criteria. In some cases, they only need a very short contract and, in other cases, they do not meet the volume that is required of them. Two such industries are event marketers (who encounter the problem of short contracts) and small businesses (which encounter the problem of low volume). Without a call center, many businesses are unable to take themselves to the next level.
Recognizing this, Adam Boalt, the founder of UsefulTools, decided to pioneer a solution. UsefulTools has partnered with LiveOps (News - Alert) to offer businesses that were unable to meet the traditional requirements with call center services. They started with the small businesses that were a part of Pipeline Brickell, a startup workspace in Miami. According to a recent statement, a few hundred calls quickly turned into hundreds of thousands of calls that are now being fielded by 46 call centers.
Boalt says that he has had personal success with LiveOps, citing their service as one that proved “essential” when his last business “became overwhelmed with calls.” Boalt says that the collaboration has already proven to be a success: “I knew that if I could provide a simple way for call centers to make their unoccupied time accessible to small businesses, these businesses could benefit from the same success I encountered. And it’s working. We’ve already generated 300,000 minutes with LiveOps Agent Services helping us grow our business.”
Sanjay Popli, the senior vice president of agent services at LiveOps, says that the company is “excited” to be working with UsefulTools, calling them the “perfect example of how LiveOps can help small businesses reach their next level of success.” He added, “The LiveOps community of 20,000 independent, at home agents has helped enable their call center network to target small businesses.” For small businesses that are trying to reach the next level of success, this may be just the answer to their prayers.
