After facilitating telephone number porting for its large clientele last month, netTALK.com, Inc., a fast growing telephone company has rolled out netTALK DUO WiFi (News - Alert). The new launch marks the next step in the evolution of netTALK DUO, the company’s revolutionary VoIP device and digital phone service that enables free nationwide calls to any phone in Canada and the U.S. from anywhere in the world.

netTALK DUO allows the users to make calls even without a computer, as it simply plugs directly into a modem. The netTALK DUO WiFi, which is fully WiFi compatible and operates from any WiFi connection, takes the multiple award-winning netTALK DUO to the next stage of its evolution.

netTALK explained that netTALK DUO WiFi has been designed to liberate the callers not only from the traditional phone company but from the hassles of being tied down with cables. With a live Wi-Fi connection, netTALK DUO WiFi works anywhere in the world. It can be set up within a few minutes time and comes for a highly competitive retail price of $64.95. netTALK DUO WiFi will follow the same flat-rate, low-cost international pricing plans of netTALK DUO.

In a press release, netTALK.com said netTALK DUO WiFi will be made available through 1,600-Plus Target (News - Alert) Stores across the country in the early April. The device is expected to hit the other retail stores later this year.

The device is going to be offered under three pricing plans: Basic Call Plan, North America Add-On and the International Add-On plans.

For a second line or a main line you can experience communication freedom and no longer need to use your cell phone to make calls at home with poor signals and unnecessary usage of minutes,” said President and CEO of netTALK Anastasios Kyriakides, in a statement.

Last year, netTALK.COM secured a major $2,500,000 funding in borrowings pursuant to a promissory note agreement.

“The new funding will be used to further grow the company, focusing on sales and marketing, expansion of the DUO telecommunications network, and supporting services and products,”  Kyriakides revealed in an earlier statement.
