Viacloud, a global mobile services company that supports mobile operators through its carrier-grade mobile virtual network aggregator (MVNA) based in the United Kingdom, has recently chosen DIGITALK SBC VoIP Peering (News - Alert) platform to carry out advanced quality-based routing for the launch of its MVNA operations in the United Kingdom.
DIGITALK (News - Alert), an independent vendor of communications solutions to a broad range of customers worldwide, is offering the carrier-grade platform, SBC VoIP Peering, to enable Viacloud’s MVNA to present high quality call routing to ensure the best service for their MVNO clients, and a high availability, robust and scalable platform to support their ambitious growth plans.
VoIP Peering is based on DIGITALK's carrier-grade, high capacity Session Border Controller supporting signalling interworking, carrier and topology hiding, media relay, DTMF interworking and Transcoding. It holds the capacity to route international wholesale traffic to multiple carriers securely, profitably while optimizing quality of service. It offers a variety of features like advanced routing and network configuration, real-time rating and credit control, and service monitoring and reporting.
“Time to market was critical – we chose DIGITALK because of their track record of flexibility to achieve rapid deployment and the DIGITALK Professional Services team were very supportive of our plans,” said Mutaz Otaibi, Viacloud’s CEO.
This new deployment will enable Viacloud to roll out its service fast and quickly integrate the new service with existing network of its MVNA. Also, Viacloud can utilize the support of the DIGITALK Professional Services team to reach its bold service rollout deadlines.
Justin Norris, DIGITALK CEO, added, “It’s a delight to work with such ambitions and this is the kind of behaviour that shapes markets. We’re thrilled to be enabling the future with our innovations and expertise.”
Viacloud recently selected Redknee (News - Alert), a provider of business-critical billing and charging software and solutions for communications service providers, for its billing, rating, settlement and customer care solution to support the launch of its U.K. operations.
