This latest feature utilizes the same carrier grade SMS platform as wireless to wireless SMS, providing accurate routing of messages using real-time updates from the industry Local Number Portability database.

Also, according to company officials, it delivers real-time processing of messages and message tracking through online reporting tools.

Rick Coma, senior vice president of 360networks said that as communications meet, they continue to see requirements from their customers to support applications such as SMS and MMS.

Coma also noted that as a wholesaler of next-generation communication services, the company will continue to work closely with their customers and deliver on their requirements.

In addition, the VoIP Origination Metered Inbound pricing model is ideal for communications service providers requiring billing based on total minutes of call time. The model enables customers whose traffic is more burstable in nature to realize greater costs savings and usability than per port models. Coma said that they created the new pricing model to give customers additional flexibility and make it easy for customers to work with them.
