San Francisco — Jan. 28, 2009 — Global IP Solutions (Oslo Børs: GIPS), the leading provider of IP multimedia processing solutions, announced today that its Vice President of Engineering Dr. Jan Linden Ph.D. will deliver three presentations next week during TMC’s (Technology Marketing Corporation) INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & Expo (ITEXPO (News - Alert)) East 2009, held at Miami Beach Convention Center, February 2-4.
TMC’s ITEXPO East is the world’s largest and best-attended IP Communications trade show. Linden’s first presentation at ITEXPO is a panel discussion on Monday, Feb. 2 at 4pm entitled “Conferencing/ Collaboration & Telepresence as Part of a UC Strategy.” He will also take part in a special conference luncheon with Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), “HD – What’s the noise and are we ready?” Tuesday February 3rd – Noon to 1:00pm. Additionally, he will present during a stand-alone session on Wed., Feb 4 at 9:30am on the topic of integrating VoIP applications onto smart phones, including the iPhone.

Linden has been conducting research and development in speech processing and communications for the last 16 years. Prior to joining Global IP Solutions (News - Alert) he was with the University of California, Santa Barbara and SignalCom, Inc. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and has filed several patents.
