Pensare Acquires Push for Nationwide UCaaS

Pensare Acquisition Corp., an acquisitions company that is focused on bridging the gap between investors and private companies, has announced its plans to purchase Stratos Management Systems, Inc. and its operating companies (Computex Technology Solutions (News - Alert)).


The move is part of the companies push to build a high-quality, world-class telecommunications company. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2019 and is pursuant to the terms of stockholder approval and other customary closing conditions.

Computex, which is ranked as one of the top MSPs offers: UCaaS, directory and messaging services, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, collaboration, data center, integration, storage, backup, virtualization, and converged infrastructure.

The combination of Computex’s comprehensive managed IT services portfolio with Pensare’s reach and capital will be mean it can drive further growth in public markets and provide additional benefits to its current customers and employees.

Pensare CEO Darrell Mays commented on the newly announced acquisition plans saying Computex will provide, “An excellent platform on which to build the premier provider of Cloud-managed Unified Communications (News - Alert) IT solutions.”

“We intend to provide these companies with the capital, expertise, and runway they need to capture a significant share of this market, particularly businesses with multiple locations,” Mays said.

In addition to this deal, the company also announced the appointment of Graham McGonigal as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, McGonigal will be tasked with executing Pensare’s strategy. 

It’s plans to build a national UCaaS IT solutions provider are in full-swing and that time of this announcement, the company said it had also had already entered into a non-binding Letter of Intent to acquire another unnamed developer of UC technology.

Further, Pensare also announced that it joined the AT&T (News - Alert) Partner Exchange so it can bundle and resell AT&T network, mobility, IoT and cybersecurity solutions with its own services for customers.
