Zultys (News - Alert), a provider of unified communications solutions for businesses, has announced interoperability of its MX Series IP phone systems with SmartVoice, a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking solution from TelePacific Communications (News - Alert).

"We are very focused on making sure that our customers can implement solutions that will handle their most demanding requirements. We're very happy that Zultys high performance IP PBX (News - Alert) systems can operate seamlessly with SmartVoice to deliver the performance our customers need," said Dave Zahn, vice president of marketing at TelePacific.

TelePacific provides cloud and business continuity solutions for small and medium sized businesses. Its SmartVoice SIP services use an IP-based telephony platform for call control and voice features, which provides access to a Dynamic SIP Network via a TelePacific managed premises gateway. SmartVoice dynamically adjusts between voice and data as employee calling patterns fluctuate.

The solution also features dynamically integrated, high capacity IP access on the company’s private IP network. It helps deliver data services over a fully meshed IP network with service level agreements offering up to 99.999-percent uptime.

"SIP trunking provides significant benefits beyond economics, including flexibility of configuration, call clarity, and disaster recovery,” said Steve Francis, chief sales and marketing officer at Zultys, in a statement. “As SIP trunking within our MX product line is standard, requiring no additional hardware or licensing, our Channel Partners have a great competitive advantage."

As businesses increasingly depend on reliable communication networks for their day-to-day operations, this interoperability is designed to deliver predictable performance and guaranteed uptime essential for customers.

Zultys’ SuperView recently won TMC’s (News - Alert) 2013 IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award from CUSTOMER magazine, the leading publication in the CRM, call center and teleservices industries since 1982.
