Esnatech & Iwatsu to Launch Enterprise Suite Version 2.0

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Esna Technologies Inc. (Esnatech) & Iwatsu (News - Alert) Voice Networks (IVN) are partnering to launch Version 2 of the Iwatsu Enterprise Suite, according to a press release. A complete communications solution, the Enterprise Suite integrates the advanced call processing solution of Iwatsu's IP PBX with Esna's unified communications platform, Enterprise Communications (News - Alert) Server v.4. The solution also incorporates the world-class unified communications solution from Esnatech's Telephony Office-LinX v7.1.

With Enterprise Suite Version 2, SMBs can effortlessly combine telephony, mobility, messaging, and enterprise presence. As a result, they can benefit from better ways of communicating, be it latent e-mailbox inbox response or proactive real time live communications.

"Iwatsu Enterprise Suite delivers an end to end solution for ALL communication media focused on the SMB space. Most vendors either ignore this business segment or deliver a very watered down platform for this customer segment. Jointly Iwatsu and Esnatech have validated the requirement for unified communications in the SMB solution by providing a robust feature rich platform that meets their exact requirements for mobility and simplicity to improve their overall business process and make them more effective in their day to day business operations,” Davide Petramala VP Sales and Marketing, Esnatech, was quoted as saying in the report.

The enterprise communication suite offers real time availability of content from any access point. With its feature-rich UC platform that consolidates sophisticated call processing in a single integrated base, the solution offers SMB's the capability to enhance their business processes, while keeping costs to a minimum.

Enterprise Communications Suite is compatible with Microsoft Windows, MS Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino, Novell (News - Alert) GroupWise, Research in Motion Blackberry, Nokia devices, and MS Windows Mobile devices. Administration of the gateway server can be done from a Microsoft Management Console or via Terminal Services over the internet. With the solution, user management can be carried out through Active Directory and Group Policy.

Enterprise Suite Version 2.0 also supports MS Exchange 2007, MS Office 2007, and fax messaging over SIP. Organizations with 25 to 500 users gain maximum business value from this solution. The suite can work seamlessly with any email/groupware environment. Additionally, users can integrate any mobile phone into the IP telephony infrastructure.

By combining voice, fax and speech through SIP integration, the cost of hardware is reduced. At the same time, users can benefit from greater flexibility of deployment location and remote site support, and improved support for high availability and resiliency needs.
