NTT WEST Adopts Mu Dynamics Test Suite for Testing IP Services

Mu Dynamics, Inc. the leader in testing next-generation IP services has announced that NTT WEST, provider of telecommunications services in Japan, has adopted the Mu Test Suite for testing its IP services.  

Service edge routers and residential gateways for wired services were among the devices being tested. The Research and Development Center of NTT (News - Alert) WEST adopted the Mu Test Suite to ensure its residential gateway services are properly functioning and secure in real world environments.

According to the release, NTT WEST selected Mu Dynamics (News - Alert) due to its unique testing approach. The Mu Test Suite is capable of leveraging actual traffic from the service provider's environment to create test scenarios and auto-generate thousands of tailored test cases.

This enables NTT WEST to test the security and resiliency of their specific service and to identify and fix issues before deployment, ensuring a successful rollout. The Mu Dynamics approach also accelerates and simplifies this testing process. NTT WEST also recognizes Mu Dynamics leadership position in IPv6 testing and will leverage the Mu Test Suite for comprehensive IPv6 testing.
