Rivermine Opens Early Bird Registration for Summit on Enterprise Telecom Expense Management

Rivermine (News - Alert), a telecom expense management (TEM) provider, is gearing up for its sixth annual Summit on Enterprise Telecom Expense Management on March 13, 2008. This year the event is co-sponsored by IBM (News - Alert) with certified training on March 12 provided by the Association of Telecom Management Professionals (AOTMP).
The Summit is designed for telecom and IT executives who have a stake in managing wireless and wireline telecom environments for government agencies, enterprises and carriers. The event features analyst sessions and panel discussions that highlight best practices for gaining control over telecom spending.
On March 12, prior to the Summit, executives can attend a one-day course (8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.), Telecom Expense Management Executive Certified Training, presented by AOTMP. The training covers TEM program models and supplier selection, how to prepare for TEM, and enterprise telecom policies. Those who complete the course will receive a Certified Training Certificate from AOTMP.
This year Summit featured speakers include Eric Goodness from Gartner (News - Alert), David Purvis from Kelly Services, Miguel Jorge from Grant Thornton, Kevin Gowen from Synovus Financial and David Albrecht from Boeing. The event takes places March 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Westin Colonnade Coral Gables in Miami, Florida. A pre-Summit welcome reception will be held the evening before, March 12 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sessions at the Summit include: How to Get Started with a Telecom Expense Management Program, Interactive Panel Discussion on TEM Deployment Options and Strategic Uses of TEM, and Wireline and Wireless Expense Management Case Studies from Fortune 1000 Companies.
