Canadian Insurance Company Deploys Etelesolv TeleManager for Telecom Expense Management

Etelesolv has announced that a contract has been awarded to it by a large Canadian insurance company to deploy TeleManager, a telecom expense management solution.
With the help of TeleManager, insurance company expects to gain visibility and control of millions of dollars in telecom costs. Telemanager would be deployed by integrating with different corporate systems such as accounting (ERP) and human resources, and IT ticketing system to insure successful synchronization of information.
In an effort to claim credits on billing anomalies, the insurance company plans to use TeleManager’s electronic telecom audit functions to review the company’s usage in prior months.
Company officials said that the bidding process identified that one of the main challenges for the provider would be to deliver cost control and visibility within a strict timeline, before end of 2010. Etelesolv demonstrated that its technology and support model can exceed expectations.
The company proved that the insurance company’s criteria and more can be met using the Telemanager platform and its comprehensive managed services. Additionally, Etelesolv offered a distinctive procurement efficiencies, internal system integration, as well as precise reporting to end-users and managers.
Montreal, Quebec based Etelesolv is a provider of telecom expense management (TEM) for large Canadian multinational corporations. The company’s software platform, TeleManager, consolidates both business intelligence and operational processes around telecom and IT services while helping clients manage multiple suppliers.
Last month, Cogeco Cable awarded a contract to ETeleSolv to deploy the TeleManager software. It has empowered Cogeco to manage its entire internal Wireless services with Phase II consisting of Cogeco's Voice and Data infrastructure.
