AOTMP, the authority on standards and best practices for telecom management, has announced the expansion of its research practice for telecom environment management.

 

At present, AOTMP publishes research reports, market landscapes, and briefs throughout the year, to deliver relevant industry research on telecom management issues.

 

As per this latest announcement, the organization is planning to almost triple the amount of research publications it produces for enterprise telecom and IT professionals by the year's end.

 

According to AOTMP, it has now strengthened resources for even “more focus on industry research efforts, and delivering insight to enterprise telecom and IT decision makers.”

 

Tim Lybrook, president and CEO at AOTMP noted that for many organizations, telecom, wireless, and other managed IT services are becoming a bigger challenge each day.

 

He pointed out that they want best practice advice on how to tackle challenges like growing wireless mobility and want to know how other companies are addressing these issues along with tangible benchmark data to understand what they’re doing and what direction to go in.

 

“We’re committed to uncovering this information in the marketplace, so that enterprises can use this insight to dramatically improve efficiency in their telecom environment and how it serves the overall business."

 

Also to support their current expansion effort in enterprise telecom management industry research, David Downey has joined the organization as the newest AOTMP research analyst. David has more than eight years of research experience.

 

Tim Colwell, vice president of Knowledge Operations at AOTMP said that David’s contribution will focus on collecting and interpreting benchmark data that enterprises can use to make better decisions in their enterprise telecom operations.

 

“It’s great to join AOTMP at a time when the industry is really recognizing the value of this kind of information, and looking for guidance and proven practices in applying it to achieve greater efficiency in their telecom operations,” said Downey.

 

Prior to joining AOTMP, Downey worked in decision support for the Indiana University Medical Group and the Indiana University Institute of Psychiatric Research.
