Intervoice Announces New Chief Operating Officer; Experienced IT Industry Executive Jim Milton

Intervoice, Inc. today announced the appointment of Jim Milton, to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer effective January 30, 2006. In this newly created position, he will oversee the Worldwide Sales, Customer Services and Operations groups for the company. Milton brings more than 20 years of marketing, sales and general management experience where he has worked extensively in the high tech sector, serving in a variety of executive roles at UGS Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation. Jim will report to Bob Ritchey, Intervoice President and CEO.

Serving most recently as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Services for UGS Corporation, a $1.2 billion product lifecycle management software company, Milton was responsible for UGS' sales, services and alliance efforts on a global basis. Prior to joining UGS, Jim served as Hewlett-Packard's (HP) Customer Solutions Group Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Americas. In this position, he was responsible for more than $20 billion in sales of HP products and services into global commercial, enterprise, small business and public sector accounts in the United States, Canada and Latin/South America. A native of Canada, he attended and graduated from the University of Waterloo.
