Loquendo (News - Alert), a provider of speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies, has announced its MRCP Server has won a 2008 IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award from TMC's (News - Alert) Customer Interaction Solutions magazine.

 

The Loquendo MRCP Server is designed to help with deploying speech technologies in large-scale telephony applications. Using the server solution, system integrators can easily and cost effectively add high quality, multilingual ASR and/or TTS to their IVR service. This is especially ideal for contact centers and message reading services.

 

To make it easy for clients to utilize speech technologies, Loquendo MRCP Server supports all major standards and employs a flexible client-server architecture.

 

According to Loquendo the MRCP Server is interoperable with a number of IVR Vendors' products including those from Avaya (News - Alert), Cisco, Genesys, Interactive Intelligence, Envox, Siemens, Aculab, NMS, Voxpilot, App-line, Aizan, and others.

Loquendo recently announced the release of the latest version of Loquendo MRCP Server. MRCP Server series 7 includes significant enhancements and makes it possible for systems operators to do things like "automatically configure all Loquendo MRCP Server parameters in order to interoperate with various platforms, stopping and restarting the MRCP server automatically."
