Speech technology provider Loquendo (News - Alert) has announced the latest addition to its family of Swedish voices, Sven, a new male Swedish voice that joins the recently upgraded Swedish female voice, Annika.
The new voice is available for Telephony, Multimedia and Embedded devices and helps Loquendo to reinforce its position in the Swedish markets.
Other languages available as part of the Loquendo TTS family include: U.S. and U.K. English, Swedish, German, Dutch, French, Canadian French, American Spanish, Mexican, Chilean and Argentinean Spanish, Castilian, Catalan, Valencian, Galician, Brazilian, Portuguese, Italian, Esperanto, Greek, Mandarin Chinese, Turkish and Polish in both male and female voices.
Also, the company has announced it will provide its customers in the Scandinavian markets with more languages and voice with the introduction of Finnish, Danish and Russian voices later in 2008. The addition of these voices will also help Loquendo to even further strengthen their presence across Europe.
Also this week, Loquendo announced the opening of new offices in Manhattan on Fifth Ave.
The new offices are in response to the growing demand for their speech products in the North American market and will help to strengthen the company's presence on the East Coast.
