Gemalto has announced the launch of a series of customer webinars. The Sentinel customer business transformation webinar series will consist of four sessions:
- Embracing the Shift
- Changing Business Models
- Automating the Process
- Empowering End Users
The first session, “Embracing the Shift,” discusses the transformation that most businesses are seeing in the way they need to operate. From how business’ customers want to use their software (on-premise or in the cloud), to how they want to pay for it (per-use). From how businesses want customers to pay (subscription), to how companies want to license (using a hardware key or a software key or a cloud license). These are all common questions and concerns company executives are facing on a daily basis. Gemalto (News - Alert) addresses all of these issues in the first session of this webinar series, which you can listen to HERE.
The second session in the series, “Changing Business Models,” will take place Tuesday, July 25 at 11 a.m. EDT. Gemalto knows that the way software is valued, sold and supported is changing, which means that many software publishers need to rethink their strategy, value proposition and deliverable to the market. If these changes are not made soon, these companies will be left behind and made irrelevant by the competition. According to Gemalto, this latest session will explore:
- The various business models to consider when re-thinking a company's strategy and value proposition
- The drivers for new pricing/monetization strategies; market expansion, customer retention and competitive advantage
- The recommended steps vendors should take when implementing new business models
- How Gemalto's Sentinel software and services helped transform pricing and monetization strategies
