Clarion “Next GATE” easily installs in any vehicle regardless of make, model or year. Once inside a car, users can access iPhone (News - Alert) functions with the help of voice commands, and the large 7-inch touchscreen. It draws its functionality from the iPhone, and it can provide various advantages.
Recently, the company introduced exclusive FB4car and Tweet4car applications designed for in-vehicle use via the Next GATE. The smartphone controller for the iPhone makes use of apps which now make it easier to securely navigate popular social media channels, like Facebook and Twitter (News - Alert), in the vehicle.
In the Next GATE's seven inch screen, FB4car and Tweet4car allows the user to view the social media sites. Users can update their status, check-in and reply to Tweets on the go via voice with Nuance's (News - Alert) Vlingo support when the iPhone is connected to Next GATE.

Adding, "We are committed to launching numerous apps near-term to expand functionality, making the user experience in the vehicle seamless and more convenient to keep the focus on driving.”
Recently, the company introduced three all-new built-in navigation in-dash source units that are equipped with full-featured features like SiriusXM satellite radio compatibility, built-in Parrot Bluetooth, Pandora (News - Alert) Internet radio compatibility, iPod and iPhone integration and HD Radio compatibility.
