Clear Channel (News - Alert) Radio, the media company with the largest reach of any radio or television outlet in America, has selected Vitrue's social marketing platform, the Vitrue SRM to manage social relationships across its 850 radio stations and its personality properties.
Vitrue's SaaS (News - Alert)-based solution will now effectively maintain consistent branding and messaging throughout hundreds of Clear Channel Radio's individual radio station pages, all from one single platform.
In a press release, Larry Linietsky, senior vice president of Product and Operations at Clear Channel Radio, said, “We're expanding our social strategy to maximize engagement with our listeners and Vitrue's platform allows us to manage our social venues and engagement in one place – from posts to ticket contests to audience polls, and more.”
Clear Channel Radio, with the help of the Vitrue SRM platform, will be able to publish and promote across all individual Clear Channel Radio social pages and personality pages, including the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
It will also be allowed to push iHeartRadio Music Festival promotional content like pertinent updates, news and others through the social Web.
Vitrue's platform will also help Clear Channel Radio to execute national promotions, advertising opportunities and sweepstakes that can be tailored to individual markets and locations.
“We designed our platform with companies like Clear Channel in mind. While social marketing allows brands to reach a global audience, it is imperative to provide the functionality to promote across local markets in real time – which is why our platform is such a good fit for Clear Channel,” said Reggie Bradford, CEO and founder of Vitrue.
“With Vitrue's solution, Clear Channel Radio will be able to easily achieve scale and promote the iHeartRadio Music Festival and other events to their fans in local markets.”
In related news, Clear Channel Communications will celebrate the arrival of its new Pandora (News - Alert)-like streaming radio app with a two-day concert that features musicians such as Lady Gaga, Steven Tyler, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez.
