Acronis Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions Now Available in Mexico Through xWeb

xWeb, a distributor specializing in IT management, virtualization, telecommunications and storage has entered into a distribution relationship with Acronis, a provider of data protection and disaster recovery solutions.

Throughout Mexico, xWeb will now sell, market and support Acronis' product suite of data backup and recovery solutions to resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) and this includes its flagship product, Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 and the recently announced Acronis vmProtect 6. xWeb channel partners will have access to the full range of Acronis solutions for data protection and disaster recovery for home and businesses under the new agreement, the company stated in a press release.


“We are pleased to have extended our agreement with xWeb to develop a new sales channel for our market-leading solutions," said Xavier Aguirre, director for Acronis Latin America in a company press release. "We look forward to working with the xWeb team to provide our family of data protection and disaster recovery solutions throughout Mexico.”

Looking to give its customers access to a powerful and easy to use, yet affordable, solution, xWeb has added Acronis to its portfolio. The company wanted to expand its portfolio of products to include backup and disaster recovery as an excellent complement to its other offerings. When it comes to data protection and disaster recovery, Acronis' backup, recovery and virtualization solutions offer the features and capabilities which the company’s customers are looking for.

Recently, the company announced it has been awarded the 2011 Global Call Center of the Year Silver Award for Strategic Value. The company’s Customer Central Support team received the award from International Customer Management Institute (ICMI), a provider of comprehensive resources for customer management professionals. According to Holley, Acronis team not only showed their enthusiasm, professionalism and customer oriented spirit, but they also proved that their operations are centered around the pursuit of excellence.
