AireSpring's SIP Trunking Products Win 'Best of Show' at ITEXPO

Telecommunications provider AireSpring announced that its SIP Trunking products earned the "Best of Show Award" as the top IP service provider solution at Technology Marketing Corporation's ITEXPO (News - Alert) West 2009 trade show and conference in Los Angeles this month.
The Los Angeles-based company, one of the fastest growing telecommunications carriers in the nation, offers a variety of local and long distance calling services at top rates on its next generation IP network. It processes more than 4 billion call records each year.
“AireSpring (News - Alert) is honored to be recognized by TMC, a leading voice in IP communications, for our advances in VoIP and SIP Trunking,” Daniel Lonstein, AireSpring chief operating officer, in a statement. “IP is the future of the telecom industry and it is gratifying to be recognized as a premier provider in VoIP and SIP technologies.”
The privately held, full service communications company offers market-leading long-distance, local, data and next-generation SIP trunking solutions that provide companies with tailored, cost effective services. SIP trunking is a service offered by Internet telephony service providers so that businesses can adopt VoIP using their Internet connection. That way, users can communicate with others who rely on the PSTN, since the enterprise IP-PBX (News - Alert) is connected to the service provider’s PSTN gateways over the Internet.

The ITEXPO Best of Show Awards recognize innovative products and solutions that were featured in the exhibit hall during the event. This designation highlights the technological achievement and creative product features that set these winners apart from the rest of the crowd.

The latest award adds another milestone to the company’s growing list of awards. AireSpring holds the record for more Telecom Association (News - Alert) awards than any other carrier or reseller, TMCnet reported.
Recently, the company announced it was selected as a Top 50 Channel Program by a telecommunications industry publication. AireSpring was recognized for its “exceptional service to the channel.” The firm was selected to be part of the Top 50 Channel Program by nearly 1,000 indirect sales partners.
Earlier this year, the Telecom Association honored AireSpring with a Members’ Choice Award as the top “SIP Trunking” Voice over Internet Protocol provider.
