Sagemcom (News - Alert), a provider of advanced fax server solutions for IP networks, recently named CCI as the winner of its Partner of the Year Award in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) category. The award recognizes partners and resellers that demonstrate expertise in Sagemcom’s XMediusFAX offering, as well as a commitment to Sagemcom itself.
As such, CCI (News - Alert) is now able to promote the award win on its website and will also receive an engraved trophy as a physical reminder of its achievement.
This announcement comes a little over a month after Sagemcom awarded Xerox Corporation a Partner of the Year Award in the area of multi-function devices. This was around the time that Xerox granted Sagemcom Gold Partner Status in the U.S. market as part of the Xerox Innovation Business Partner Program, which aims to bring together software and hardware providers, systems integrators, value-added resellers and distributors to create solutions that extend the capabilities of Xerox products.
For CCI, its Partner of the Year win demonstrates that it is a “true partner on all levels” when it comes to Sagemcom’s efforts in the IP fax space. Indeed, CCI has smoothly integrated XMediusFAX solutions into its customer’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, enabling the secure faxing of health records, reports and prescriptions through the Varian Medical Systems suite.
Considering the requirements regarding fax in the healthcare industry, most notably the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), CCI and Sagemcom are a natural fit, as XMediusFAX is specifically designed to adhere to HIPAA regulations. As such, CCI is able to extend HIPAA compliance through Varian Medical Systems solutions.
“For the first time, we want to recognize and celebrate the achievements of the top Sagemcom partners,” said Jean Champagne (News - Alert), general manager of Sagemcom Canada, in a statement. “CCI is an excellent partner for Sagemcom and it’s with great pleasure we recognize their efforts through this award.”
