OpenLine PR Server from Sagemcom Enhanced to Deliver Better IP Fax Value

Sagemcom, an advanced IP fax server solutions provider, announced it has entered a reseller agreement with IKON Office Solutions Inc., a Ricoh (News - Alert) company and provider of innovative document management solutions and services. Under the terms of this new agreement, IKON will offer Sagemcom’s North American version of OpenLine PR Server fax archival and approval routing solutions.
Now, Sagemcom’s OpenLine PR Server has been enhanced to offer a full range of new features, including Microsoft (News - Alert) application-certified integration with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Unified Messaging (UM), Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2; a new versatile report-generation engine to improve control and business process efficiency; and Web-based composition and management with integrated phone book.The integrated system reporting delivers a comprehensive set of more than 20 built-in reports.
The Web-based fax composition and management with integrated phone book – both private and public – integrates seamlessly with emerging Web 2.0 technologies and infrastructures. To cater to the international enterprise or SMB, the OpenLine PR Server is available in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. This extensive language selection ensures international customers have localized user interfaces in order to easily access data.
The OpenLine PR Server is designed to work with or without a fax card to optimize current and future network assets. The solution enables seamless integration of VoIP network deployment and projects through total control over T.38 (FoIP), SIP and H.323 protocols. OpenLine also merges seamlessly with unified messaging solutions.
The servers delivered through the OpenLine solution are designed to be bulletproof through the implementation of a synchronous replication technology that is used for survivability. The optional intra-system replication scheme is used for co-located servers and to provide a transparent failover mechanism to ensure high availability (HA) and minimizes service interruptions. This plug and play document management solution is designed to provide rich enterprise fax server capabilities, along with the benefit of workflow optimization, document management and archive capabilities for total security and audit traceability.
The OpenLine solution is easy to use, reliable and includes intelligent document routing to optimize information flow.
