SIP trunking services provider BandTel (News - Alert) has joined forces with Epygi Technologies, a VoIP
IP PBX (News - Alert) supplier, in order to market VoIP for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs).
BandTel's architecture is interoperable with Epygi's Quadro IP-PBX
product line. The new partnership will allow the companies to offer VARs and SMBs an interoperable solution which combines BandTel's global ITSP network with Quadro VoIP IP
PBX systems by Epygi (News - Alert).
“Teaming with Epygi is a great enhancement for our respective customers and resellers because we’re combining reliable, straightforward, cutting edge technology,” said BandTel's CEO Chris Dunk in a statement.
Epygi’s Quadro product line includes its all-in-one IP PBXs, gateways and conference servers. The product features receptionist call queue monitoring, remote extensions with multi-company receptionist, and voicemail to e-mail.

Today’s news comes on the heels of Epygi’s announcement about its October deal with Aastra and AGN Networks (News - Alert). The three companies announced that they bundled their technologies into an offering for small businesses.
Via the new partnership, the Aastra IP phones have now been integrated with the Epygi Quadro IP-PBX; and the AGN Networks VoIP phone service has now been certified for use with the Epygi IP-PBX.
