Since the process of handling incoming and outbound calls as well as additional features such as IVR, auto attendant and fax-to-email, is becoming more cumbersome by the day, many companies are looking to expand their PBX offerings and many businesses are looking to bring that trusty business phone system into their offices.
Along those lines, FonAngle Communications – a business VoIP provider for small- to medium-sized businesses – recently added a Business Internet service to its product portfolio, a move that will augment its share of the hosted BPX market. Since reliable Internet services are paramount in today’s business landscape, especially with the rise of cloud computing, FonAngle is partnering with top-end providers to offer customers high quality, cost effective Internet services to supports its Hosted Office Phone (News - Alert) System and FreedomSIP products, according to company officials.
"We know that internet connection strength is vital to the health of any business," said FonAngle CTO Chris Meyers. "When that connection carries your voice service, it becomes that much more imperative."
FonAngle delivers Internet products in a broad range of connection types, including: DSL, cable, T1-T3, Metro Ethernet, fiber, and wireless. All of FonAngle’s Internet products are backed by strong Service Level Agreements so that customers can be confident they have a reliable service that delivers exceptional voice quality, officials said.
Another company that is paving the way for hosted PBX (News - Alert) solutions is Sonetel, the only company worldwide offering a free, scalable PBX service. Touted as “the easiest, cheapest and fastest way” to get a telephony solution for your company, Sonetel is in the midst of commemorating its one-year anniversary, having unveiled the first version of its phone system in late 2010.
Recently, the PBX provider announced the release of Sonetel’s “long awaited” Web interface for regular users. With this Web interface, customers can enjoy call forwarding and setting up personal features from any smartphone or computer.
With its latest announcement, Sonetel is now making its Web interface available to regular users as well. Before this news, regular Sonetel users turned to Sonetel's Windows app when changing their call forwarding since Sonetel's Web interface was previously only available to "company admins" for configuring the phone system.
