Open source PBX
solutions provider Sangoma (News - Alert) Technologies announced Monday the addition of three new companies in its network of partners supporting Sangoma’s PCI and PCI-Express hardware.
The three companies are:
-
Teldori Communications, an engineering group based in Memphis, TN, that designs and builds unified communications IP-PBX (News - Alert) systems
-
Frederickton, New Brunswick (Canada)-based Indosoft, Inc., a provider of call center applications for TDM and VoIP
using the Asterisk (News - Alert) platform
-
eCRM of Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada), a company that offers Application Service Provider hosting solutions for integrated software suites and telecommunications applications
“We believe this is just the tip of the iceberg as more businesses decide to migrate to Sangoma hardware to increase their reliability, improved system performance, enhanced system compatibility and superior customer support,” Sangoma’s CEO, David Mandelstam, said in a statement.
Mandelstam continued: “As Asterisk gains traction in the marketplace, companies are looking to our manufacturing and design expertise in the voice and telephony space to enhance their business.”
In a statement, Teldori CEO Stan Herring explained that the company chose Sangoma’s hardware in order to better serve small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) seeking unified communications systems that bridge traditional telephony and VoIP.
“With a reliable need to connect to the PSTN to service our customers, we will be using Sangoma hardware exclusively as the analog and T1
PCI card of choice,” Herring said. “We require products that meet and exceed our technical and support specifications. Sangoma's hardware and personalized attention will continue to be a key component of our ongoing success.”
For Indosoft, Sangoma’s hardware is a necessary component in setting up enterprise-grade, FCC (News - Alert)-compliant call center applications—such as ACD
control and predictive dialer.
“Our open system approach provides seamless integration of TDM and VoIP,” explained Indosoft president Rajan Iyengar, in a statement. “Sangoma hardware has the quality, engineering level support, innovation, reliability and performance necessary to build and support our enterprise class systems.”
Creating fully hosted and managed contact center systems also led eCRM to Sangoma’s hardware, which helps the company provide features and functions normally found in million-dollar premised-based systems for much, much less.
“We have selected to standardize on Sangoma hardware because of its bang for the buck,” eCRM president and CEO Bill Ronalds said in a statement. “We look forward to working the Sangoma team as we continue to provide significant reliable value to our customers.”
