Open Source CRM Provider to Host SugarCon 2010

After announcing the company’s open source customer relationship management, or “CRM,” Winter Tour, open source CRM provider SugarCRM (News - Alert), it seemed as if the software company was on a role just three weeks in to the New Year.

 
Now, the very popular CRM provider has announced plans to host SugarCon 2010, its global customer, partner and developer conference in San Francisco, Cali.
 
“SugarCon has become one of the most unique and popular CRM conferences in the world and this year promises to be even better,” said Larry Augustin, CEO of SugarCRM.
 
With the theme, “Evolve Your CRM,” the conference – to be held April 12 – 14 at The Palace Hotel in San Fran – will bring together industry executives and leaders that will offer advice and professional guidance on how companies can take advantage of all the big trends in the CRM space.
 
“Whether you are a customer, partner, developer or just interested in learning about the future of business applications, cloud computing and open source, we invite you to spend three exciting days with us,” Augustin said.
 
From cloud computing, social networking and open source, attendees will learn how these new applications and market trends can affect, impact and attract and retain customers.
 
According to company officials, highlights of the conference will include keynotes on the future of CRM, open source and cloud computing, as well as over 100 session on various market topics, led by execs from all over the world who share these experiences first hand.
 
In addition, breakout tracks covering best practices for succeeding with CRM and technical and developer sessions on how to get the most out of open source and cloud technologies will also take place.
 
SugarCRM is opening the floor to presentations from outside speakers. To submit a topic, simply visit the call for papers portion of the company’s Web site. To simply attend the event, individuals must register through SugarCRM’s Web site.
