ManageEngine Introduces Free Video Traffic Monitoring for NetFlow Analyzer Customers

By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor

ManageEngine (News - Alert) has just unveiled a free video traffic monitoring for customers of NetFlow Analyzer, the company’s bandwidth monitoring and traffic analytics tool.

NetFlow Analyzer 9.5 makes Cisco (News - Alert) Medianet reporting available, ensuring optimum performance of media-rich applications in the network. Company officials added that this solution simply leverages flow technologies to provide real-time visibility into network bandwidth performance.

Due to its ability to report on Cisco Medianet video traffic, NetFlow Analyzer users can monitor the critical factors affecting the quality of video traffic and take appropriate fine-tuning measures to ensure their video application delivers an optimal user experience.

Vijayarangakannan Rajkumar, product manager at ManageEngine, said in a press release that the Cisco Medianet support in NetFlow Analyzer is just one of the steps the company is taking to ensure customers enjoy superior network performance for all of their network applications, including video.

In addition to free video traffic monitoring, NetFlow Analyzer also boasts a new user interface with a tab view that provides one-click access to any feature or report.

Additionally, thanks to the new Grid view, users can view the devices being monitored from one central point, which provides one-click access to statistics for those devices. Company officials said that the new UI offers more space for personalization.

Additionally, the NetFlow Analyzer now also supports AppFlow which ensures optimum performance.

Tapan D. Bhat, general manager and business head for managed IT services at Wipro (News - Alert) Infotech said that the NetFlow Analyzer provides centralized traffic analysis for the company’s customers' networks with over 100 interfaces spread geographically.

“It enables easy troubleshooting of traffic bottlenecks and helps the company in capacity planning,” Bhat said in a statement, adding that the information provided is user-friendly and enables them to make informed business decisions.

Last month, TMCnet reported that ManageEngine was now offering mobile access to ServiceDesk Plus On-Demand, the ITIL-ready, cloud-based help desk and asset management solution.
