Eyeball Networks scored a major new client in Nokia (News - Alert) Siemens when the global provider of communications services selected to use Eyeballs’ AnyFirewall Server.

The Vancouver-based Eyeball Networks, a leading developer of NAT-traversal solutions, and voice, video, IM software, will now provide a scalable firewall and NAT traversal solution for SIP end-points based on IETF standards and drafts such as STUN, TURN and ICE for Nokia Siemens (News - Alert).

“Nokia Siemens is a strategic win for us," Chris Piché, CEO of Eyeball Networks, said.

Eyeball Networks enables carriers to offer voice, video and instant-messaging over IP across multiple platforms. The company’s AnyFirewall solutions enable seamless 100 percent firewall and NAT traversal of VoIP communications to application developers, service providers and device makers.

“Combining Eyeball’s standard-based NAT traversal solutions into world-leading soft-switch and other infrastructure products provides operators around the world a compelling next-generation solution for mass deployment,” said Piché.

Eyeball MessengerSDK enables the development of full-featured soft-clients with superior voice and video quality, presence services and guaranteed call completion across Network Address Translators (NATs), firewalls, and Web proxies using STUN, TURN and ICE.

Nokia Siemens Networks (News - Alert) is one of the world’s largest network communications companies serving a growing customer base in over 160 countries across five continents. Their SURPASS hiQ 8000 is a carrier-grade, universal soft-switch and service delivery platform that enables scalable deployment of highest priority next-generation applications to operators around the world.
