ITEXPO East 2011 in Miami is only days away and D2 Technologies’ chief operating officer Doug Makishima will have a pretty full schedule. First up on Makishima’s agenda, he will be speaking on the panel presentation, “The Future of Video Communications on Mobile Devices.”
The presentation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 2:00PM during which Makishima and others will address the state of video communications within the enterprise and examine the technological advances that will hasten the adoption of video calls on mobile devices.
Additional participants include Doug Mohney, editor-in-chief of HD Voice News (moderator) and Hanna Tong, director of business development-convergence solutions for Samsung (News - Alert) Telecommunications America.
On Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 3:35PM, Makishima will also moderate the panel presentation, “Is 4G the most important trend in device development?,” a breakout session at the 4G Wireless Evolution Conference.
Panel participants Craig Miller, vice president of marketing and business development for Sequans Communications (News - Alert) and Hanna Tong, director of business development-convergence solutions for Samsung Telecommunications America, will join Makishima in exploring speed and transport issues facing today’s carriers and electronics manufacturers.
