RouteMatch Software is facilitating multimodal transportation with the launch of a complete Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) platform for mobility management.

Designed specifically for facilitating multimodal transportation, the RouteMatch 6 platform is helping demand response, fixed route and flex route service operators fulfill their operational requirements.

Operators can deploy this version either through a hosted environment or on-premises.

The newly released RouteMatch 6 platform includes several features, including foundation for mobility management that facilitates greater coordination between different modes of transportation services.

Many of the features in RouteMatch 6 have been included following feedback from the transit executives and operators. The company’s client led product advisory group also helped develop the new version.

Incorporated into the new RouteMatch 6 platform is meaningful business intelligence and reporting, which help with the speed and quality of decision making for operators.

The new version is can be easily accessed with a single point of sign on through a vehicle logic unit and incorporates tools for dynamic scheduling and dispatching.

RouteMatch 6 allows transit agencies to perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections, gain customizable fields and know about issues before they occur. It also provides transit agencies with greater access and visibility into their data.

RouteMatch Software’s Facility Web Portal recently improved coordination at a North Carolina transit agency and partnering health and human service providers. It improved the way Kerr Area Rural Transportation System (KARTS) communicated with health and human services organizations and eliminated the duplication of work.
