Zenprise (News - Alert), a provider of mobile device management (MDM) solutions, announced the launch of Zenprise Partner Network, designed to ensure “its partners are best-in-class mobility and security solution providers.”

By expanding its network, Zenprise hopes to increasingly penetrate the ever-growing mobile device management market. Recently, Forrester Research (News - Alert) estimated that the market size for mobile device management will grow from the current $3.9 billion to $6.6 billion in 2015.

The Zenprise Partner Network helps companies of any size mobilize and protect their enterprises. It enables solution providers to provide Zenprise mobile device management solutions including Zenprise MobileManager and Zencloud, which give customers a triple layer of security that operates at the device, application and network tiers; thereby providing a security solution that goes everywhere the data goes, securing every point in the enterprise's mobile environment, the company said.

"The BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) phenomena and the consumerization of IT are the real game changers – and opportunity – In the mobile enterprise,” said Ahmed Datoo, CMO for Zenprise, in a statement. “As a result of these two trends, IT is facing an onslaught of requests to allow network and application access for their personal smartphones and tablets.”

According to Datoo, Zenprise’s ability to protect and enable the mobile enterprise opens up tremendous opportunities for VARs and resellers in the mobile device management industry. "Zenprise's MobileManager and Zencloud are truly channel-ready offerings,” Datoo added. “Any organization with employees using corporate or employee owned smartphones or tablets is a potential customer.”

Zenprise Partner Network offers two levels of partnership – authorized and premier. All partners start at the authorized level. As partners grow with Zenprise and achieve certain milestones, they can achieve premier status. Premier level is provided to partners with additional support and compensation benefits such as growth rebates and lead sharing.

Scalability is a key factor in protecting the mobile enterprise. With the challenge of heterogeneous mobile device management being relatively new, it's has become common practice for enterprises to pilot solutions with 50-200 devices. In this scenario, true protection of the mobile enterprise will require the ability to secure and manage every device touching the network, the company revealed.

Zenprise's mobile device management software automates all aspects of mobile management, from monitoring to troubleshooting, from expense management to device management, from security to compliance. Zenprise currently has a number of customers protecting more their 65,000 devices, and future customers are looking at as many as five million devices, the company said.

In May, Zenprise announced the availability of Zenprise Secure Mobile Gateway (News - Alert), which the company claims is the industry's first of its kind offering that provides multilayer protection against malicious or blacklisted applications.
