Officials of Broadview Networks (News - Alert) have just inked a master agent partnership with Telegration (News - Alert), prompting Broadview officials to reveal that this collaborative effort falls in line with the company’s goal of delivering communications and cloud computing services to the small- and medium-sized business market.

“We partnered with Broadview Networks because of their outstanding portfolio of cloud communications and IT services for small and medium-sized businesses," said Michigan-based Telegration President Denis Raue in a statement when asked about the master agent deal.

According to industry journal Channel Partners Online, Rob Westervelt, senior vice president of Channel Partner (News - Alert) Sales for Broadview Networks, said Telegration “brings tremendous expertise and depth of experience to this partnership as one of the most highly-respected providers of business telecommunication services in the Great Lakes region."

Broadview Networks markets its products and services through both direct and indirect sales channels and works with more than 300 channel partners to provide what it calls an innovative portfolio of cloud-based communications and IT services to businesses nationwide.

In related news, around this time last year TMCnet reported that New Edge Networks (News - Alert) announced that Telegration, a provider and reseller of business telecommunications services, signed a master agent agreement to offer New Edge products and services via their network of Telegration representatives and independent agents.

This partnership with New Edge will give Telegration access to a fully managed nationwide multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) network and multiple last mile offerings including DSL, Cable, T1 and Ethernet.
