Knowledge Management Provider Consona Selected by Discovery Bay Games

In a move to upgrade and streamline its business processes, Discovery Bay Games has officially selected Consona (News - Alert) to provide it with enterprise resource planning software. The Intuitive ERP solution from Consona will help Discovery Bay Games meet the needs of its growing business and manage its customer relationship strategies in a more effective manner.


Darren Tuck, senior director of operations, Discovery Bay Games, stated, “Upon viewing the capabilities of the software, I was immediately struck by Intuitive’s easy-to-use interface and functionalities that put all the relevant business information right at users’ fingertips in a straightforward, visual format. I was especially interested in the solution’s remarkable flexibility that allowed it to be configured to meet our specific requirements.”

Discovery Bay has won awards for innovative games, puzzles, and accessories for tablets and iOS-enabled devices. It has partnered with notable licensors including Highlights for Children, Saturday Night Live, and The Smithsonian Institute.

Tuck continued, “The organizational benefits that we foresee from implementing Intuitive at Discovery Bay are hard to quantify when you’re looking at the leaps and bounds we’re about to advance in efficiency and inter-departmental communication. Discovery Bay is expanding after starting up in 2006, and requires a more streamlined way of managing its customer relationship software. The company decided on Consona’s Intuitive ERP software to bring operations to a more coordinated level. Requiring a more integrated solution, Discovery Bay will use Consona’s ERP software to prioritize purchase orders, accounts receivable and payable, inventory, and other primary business systems.

The company will employ Consona’s other knowledge management software including its CRM module to manage its customer relationship strategies.
