Angel, a provider of enterprise focused, cloud-based Customer Experience solutions, including IVR and Contact Center offerings, announced Kevin Shelly has joined as its new Vice President of Sales.
In his new title, Shelly will be responsible for leading Angel's global sales organization, including enterprise organizations and resellers.
“We are very pleased to welcome Kevin to our leadership team,” said Dave Rennyson, president and COO of Angel, in a statement. “Kevin's outstanding leadership qualities and extensive sales expertise will be a tremendous asset to our organization, as we continue to grow, expand and challenge industry status quo.”
Prior to joining Angel, Shelly was serving as Senior Vice President of Sales at ACS (News - Alert) (acquired by Xerox), a business process and information technology services company. He has expertise in consulting services, systems integration, business process outsourcing (BPO) and enterprise software. Shelly’s career also includes leadership positions at Bearing Point, Sybase and Oracle (News - Alert).
“I am thrilled to join Angel to lead the sales efforts,” said Shelly. “Angel's combination of cloud-based, enterprise-grade customer experience solutions and mission to help companies always put the “Caller First,” sets the company apart in the marketplace today.”
Angel Caller First Analytics, a business intelligence (BI) analytics tool, is quickly becoming an invaluable component of an enterprise's customer interaction strategy, according to company officials.
Caller First Analytics recently won the “2010 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award” from TMC (News - Alert), a global, integrated media company, for the product’s outstanding innovation.
The solution provides key views, dashboards, reports, and volumes for all IVR and call center activities and is comparable to the power of packages like Google (News - Alert) Analytics for Web site performance tracking and performance optimization, the company said.
“The team, vision and strategy behind Angel are world-class, and I'm excited to contribute to the company's future success,” Shelly further said.
