STI has finalized a strategic alliance with Ottawa, Canada-based TelASK Technologies, a provider of patient support systems based on multimodal communication strategies including IVR technology, which calls thousands of people in North America every day.
Simon Roberts, director of marketing and business development at STI, said that this alliance will help the company to deliver the best patient engagement and adherence programs in the country.
TelASK and STI offer complimenting technology platforms. “TelASK has collaborations with leading scientists, program developers, and healthcare organizations that complement STI's technology platform and its vast knowledge of the healthcare industry,” Roberts said.
Capitalizing on relationships within the healthcare industry, the companies expect to introduce innovative programs to a variety of customers in the private and public sector.
Peter Fallis, president at TelASK, said that the combination of STI's transactional marketing technologies with the advanced communication strategies offered by TelASK will result in cost-effective programs that will benefit patients from coast to coast.
Halifax, N.S. based STI provides innovative healthcare marketing solutions across the lifecycle of pharmaceutical and device brands. The company uses its SmartTechnology platform as the source of real-time transactional intelligence to allow all stakeholders -- manufacturer, pharmacy, prescriber, and payer -- to optimize their patient relationships.
Earlier last year, STI announced its finalized corporate partnership with the technology group iMD Healthcare Canada based in Toronto, Ontario. Under the terms of the joint marketing agreement, STI and iMD are working together to improve the patient experience utilizing electronic downloadable solutions for key needs like improved medication access and reimbursement.
