It was announced today that Michael Wheeler (News - Alert), vice president of the Global IP Network business unit, at IP transit provider NTT (News - Alert) America, will participate in a panel discussion at Capacity LATAM titled, “Monetizing Ethernet: Development, Challenges and Opportunities.”

Michael Wheeler has over 15 years of sales management and operational experience in the Internet/data communications industry to NTT America, a U.S. based subsidiary of NTT Communications (News - Alert).
In his current role as vice president of the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit, Wheeler is responsible for all financial, engineering, operational and customer relationship activities for the business unit. Prior to holding his current title, Wheeler led the sales and business development organization for the GIN Business Unit, which includes direct sales, account management, indirect channel sales, sales engineering, marketing, product management and business development activities.
The panel discussion will take place on March 22 at 11:30 a.m., in Sao Paulo Brazil. The focus will be on South America’s Ethernet markets and the many obstacles attached to it—such as cost effectiveness, enterprise demand and market evolution.
Wheeler, along with other industry experts, will speak about important services and technologies that are currently driving the telecoms market in the region, including how to continue to successfully grow in the future.
