The communications landscape is in a constant state of change, as old technologies evolve and new ones hit the scene. Businesses today rely increasingly on IP networks and related services to keep in touch and share information all over the world, whether it’s with multiple office locations or with international clients and business partners. As such, it’s important for those in the communications, software, service provider, channel partner and enterprise communities to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings in the IP space.
Yealink (News - Alert) announced that it will be supporting an event to do just this, taking place this week, June 9-12. Helping to sponsor the event, GENBAND’s Perspectives14 Annual Customer and Partner Summit, is an important step for Yealink, as the move strengthens its relationship with GENBAND (News - Alert).
“The partnership with GENBAND is recognized as a milestone. It represents the significant progress Yealink has made in enjoying infinite communications with low cost and high efficiency, both internally and externally,” said Stone Lu (News - Alert), vice president of Yealink. “We greatly hope to share this cheerful event with you at our booth 4.”
Yealink will be investing more to improve and expand upon its package service for customer fulfillment. The investment will include building a bigger team to support American ITSPs—including sales and product managers, and technical support and marketing. More of Yealink’s money will also go into marketing funding, as well as Rapid Technical Support, which is Yealink’s door-to-door tech support offering fast product introduction and integration to save customers time and resources. Yealink will also be building up its R&D team, which can provide greater flexibility and higher speed on customization.
All of these improvements will also carry over into increasing post-introduction capacity; after the initial introduction of Yealink services, the company will be better able to offer continuous support, such as fixed access, and access to related files and training, as well as an advanced product roadmap, like upcoming video phone of T4 series, wireless solution, and so on. With all of these steps being taken, in addition to its deepening ties with GENBAND (News - Alert), the IP phone provider is looking at a promising year.
