Yealink recently appointed Wei Tang as the VP of Business Development for the North American market, reflecting Yealink’s long-term expansion to the U.S. and Canada, where he will work to strengthen partner relationships, boost ITSP sales, instigate new business opportunities and manage Yealink’s GTM strategy in North America.

Tang received an MS degree from the University of Virginia and a BS from Beijing University in electrical engineering. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including unified communications and collaboration applications, 4G wireless infrastructure, mobility and security software and telecom OSS/BSS systems.

The appointing of Tang comes right off the heels of Yealink’s newly released IP phones series, the T4 family. The T4 IP phones series includes the SIP-T41P, the SIP-T42G and the SIP-T46G, and is designed specifically for users that expect integrated communications to come with excellent functionality and ultra-smart design.
