Earlier this year, the Bulgarian Development Bank began looking for a replacement telephony system because its Siemens (News - Alert) system was no longer helping the bank’s efforts to provide customers with a quick, effective and consistent service.

Because VoIP provides the necessary flexibility and advanced features, the Bulgarian Development Bank’s evaluation team quickly narrowed the platform choices down to Epygi Technologies (News - Alert), a VoIP company that designs, manufactures and distributes feature-rich IP PBXs, VoIP gateways and cost-saving SIP technology. Due to the seamless integration with Epygi, Yealink’s IP phones were chosen to complement the product offering due to their affordability, ease of deployment and high performance.

With the help of ENCO, Epygi delivered the QX1000, an enterprise-class IP voice system that delivers big-bank telephony features to remote workers while reducing the bank’s operational costs. Hundreds of Yealink IP phones, including the T32G, T38G and VP530 phone models, are now perfectly supported on the system.

Since Epygi’s QX1000 supports point-to-point video calling with no expensive licenses, the Bulgarian Development Bank’s executives were able to take advantage of Yealink’s advanced video IP phone, the VP530.  Unified with audio, video, and various applications, the VP530 allows the bank’s executive team to have face-to-face phone conversations, which is especially useful as the team is often traveling or in separate locations.

Not only was Yealink able to exceed the executives’ telephony expectations, it was able to provide different handsets, including the Yealink T32G  and T38G, that best meet the needs of other employees. These handsets were well-received by the Bulgarian Development Bank’s employees as they helped provide the best care to the bank’s customers. Furthermore, the reliability and ease-of-use of the Yealink handsets ensured that the bank’s operations ran smoothly and were enhanced.
